Australia has been experiencing really crazy weather over the past few weeks. As a result Queenslanders have been dealt a devastating blow dealing with flash flooding that has caused immeasurable damage and taken many lives. It has been heartbreaking to watch the tv reports and frustrating not being able to do much from afar except donate and pray for everyone affected. A little ray of sunshine in the form of two very talented Australian artists Beth-Emily and Kelly Smith have joined creative forces to form Art for Heart to help raise funds by Auctioning fresh art for the flood victims. It's a win win situation because you get to bid and hopefully win some really choice contemporary art whilst 100% of the auction proceeds go to The Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal. To date there are 2 separate auctions, so get in quick! Please dig deep for a really, really good cause and help spread the word. Big ups to all the kind and generous artists who are donating their fair goods, see listing below. It certainly warms the heart to see the art community banding together during troubled times. xo
