Work by Irene Grishin-Selzer (a.k.a iggy & lou lou)
I've been itching to announce that I will be officially exhibiting with the gorgeous and talented Irene Grishin-Selzer (a.k.a Iggy & Loulou) at Lab X Gallery in November. I can't wait to see what Irene has up her crafty sleeve, I have an inkling that she'll show some of her ridiculously beautiful ceramics plus maybe, just maybe some 2D work as well... Oooh can't wait!
Irene and I have been talking about this for years and we have finally landed ourselves a great little space courtesy of Michael the curator at Lab X. The actual gallery is located within the Lab X processing building, it's an awesome hidden gallery space that's more like a long white tunnel (does that sound strange?) The Lab X gallery is a bit of a local secret probably better known within the photographic industry. We are dead keen to get our work in there and let the magic happen!
I need to get busy now and search for some precious time to get the work done, as I always say, I do my art when i should be sleeping!
I'll post more down the track to keep you up to date with opening nights details etc...
