I recently illustrated a 'mixie' book for The National Gallery of Victoria! The book highlights 25 reinterpreted images from 'The Cricket & The Dragon' exhibition which runs until March 2009.
The children's exhibition covers all media and a wide time period. Works from South East Asia, China, India, Persia and Japan explore the symbolic and mythological meanings of animals in Asian art. It's an amazing exhibition for the whole family and better still, it's free entry!
You can purchase the book online or visit the lovely gallery bookshops where you can always pick up cool pressies and the best selection of fine art books ever!
Special big hugs, kisses and thanks to Jeremy from the agency for all your support particularly with the 'vectorising' side of things and to my favorite trusty team at CPL for the upmost in reliability and professionalism when it comes to scanning and retouching around! Cheers Guys!

In other news I am almost 9 months up, baby is due early Jan and I am certainly feeling the pinch, my feet and ankles are as swollen as the fuggliest fat tree trunks you'll ever see! I enjoyed these final weeks when I was preggy with Wilhelmina back in 2006 but not so much this time around...
