Sydney Pics & Facebook
We've all been under the weather since we arrived home from Sydney and poor baby Ada copped it the worst. Poor little bean has been really unwell. Antibiotics, rest and plenty of TLC is helping get her back on track.
I've been finding very limited time to complete work for the show at Lab X but I'm relieved to say I'm almost there. We, the 'three of a kind' girls set up our facebook page, oh man I vowed never to do such a thing, I find it all very distracting and utterly alluring at the same time! Come visit us, we love friendly company!
O.k lastly, I've just completed a massive job of editing our Sydney pics and uploaded them to flickr. Go check it out! ENJOY.

Blackeyed Susans Merchandise
I have some very exciting news to share with you all, The Blackeyed Susans have just launched their online merchandise store where you can pre-order a truck load of treasures! The band have been awesome to work with and they have initiated some amazing opportunities for me. I have recently been collaborating with some of my favorite local designers on a range of limited edition jewelry that features my little bird design. The special line of merchandise commemorates the bands 20 years of musical existence! I've got my eye of all the jewels and gorgeous tea towels! Very cool Chrissy pressies!
Project Blurb
As part of the legendary Blackeyed Susans 20 year celebrations the band enlisted Melbourne artist Madeleine Stamer to illustrate their extensive retrospective Release Yourself album cover and 4-disk deluxe box set and CD booklet.
The band also combined the talents of Madeleine and Australian designers A Skulk Of Foxes and Dandylyonn to develop a range of limited edition jewelry and merchandise that prominently features Madeleine’s distinctive bird image. A range of limited edition merchandise will be available for pre order from the bands exclusive online store or from the merchandise desk at the forthcoming Blackeyed Susans shows. Items selling fast!

Me and the fam have just arrived home from a little break in Sydney, will post pics soon. We had a very relaxing and inspiring time. Our apartment had stunning views of the harbor with a constant flow of little boats and yachts bobbing past our window. Still getting over a nasty bout of plane turbulence. I experienced the face of terror on Wilhelmina's face when the plane dropped. Awful!!! Next time I think we'll drive...

x o x Happy Birthday x o x

Today our precious Wilhelmina turned 3! Our little baby has grown so FAST, actually she prefers to be called 'the big girl' ever since baby sister Ada was born. Yesterday we had the family over for a casual afternoon tea party, it was a gorgeous sunny day and we celebrated like kings and queens! The kids bolted around the backyard dancing to music and hammed it up to the adults and vice versa, there were bubbles being blown everywhere, loads of laughter, chalk drawing on the concrete, frogs in ponds and beetles in lava being devoured, balloons popping and the kids toys dragged outside for entertainment. All she wanted was a pink cake with flowers...
I couldn't resist going a bit OTT with the decorations. I just had to make a batch of colourful, fiesta style, fluffy 'paper pom-poms' and to Wilhelmina's delight she gazed up at them bedazzled exclaiming that she thought everything had been turned into "magic land". They are dead easy to make, I'm now going to re-use them in Ada's bedroom so she can look up to the ceiling and Ooohhh and Aaahhh at them. Eazy peazy Martha Stewart tutorial here.
Giant thank you to our dear friends Fi & Pablo who dropped by with their two gorgeous kids. They gave us a very special treat, 2 vivid red molded acrylic vintage letters for the girls. The letters apparently came from an old jewelry shop in the city which no longer exists, but fortunately we now have a little bit of its history living with us! Coincidently Fi & Pablo are incredible artists and own an awesome shop called Lair in Lygon Street, Brunswick. Unfortunately they don't have a website at the moment but please don't let that deter you if you are Brunswick bound. Fi & Pablo source the best vintage finds, industrial objects, furniture and eclectic treasures you're ever likely to come across. Neat stuff.
Big love and birthday wishes to our Wilhelmina-Pearl girl x o x
